Had the first appointment today. It was scheduled at 11:15 yet we didn't get to go back until after 1:00. It was awful. Small cramped office with a bunch of people and kids stuffed in there. Absolutely no air circulation at all. So talk about getting claustrophobic (sp). Had to get up and walk the halls for the last hour or so of waiting. Even then I didn't think I was going to make it without getting sick so I had Mal carry the bathroom key with us.
Finally got to go back. They have a non english speaking nurse who after repeating myself more then twice I decided to just allow her to write down whatever answer she thought she heard, lol. Then came the time to take the blood. The nurse tied the thingy around my arm so tight that it literally cut off the blood circulation. She couldn't get blood to come out and I have never had trouble giving blood. She kept pushing it in farther, pulling it out and moving it all around. OUCH.
Finally, the doctor came in and it was fine after that except I figured she would have at least checked the babies heartbeat but she didn't. I have a sonogram scheduled for next Wednesday @1:00 which will probably end up being like 3:00 or later.
After that I will be switching doctors. I have decided that I am going to take the list of doctors and go check out the office area before making my next move.
